Well, in that case I happen to have a complete disassembled 13B I could be convinced to part with.

With TII rotors? Pleeeeaaaasssseee? I've got a usable pair of NA S4 rotors, but I'd rather have the 8.5:1. I've got a good pair of S5 rotor housings, got a pair of turbo sleeves from from some toasted housings? I need to inventory my S4/S5 iron so I don't know what I need there.
Has anyone tried adapting knock sensors? With MS2 I think I can control intake temp with water injection, but a functional knock sensor would be nice.

Comment on dormant markets: Seems we are into a netherworld now for most stuff. I am wondering if anyone is going to make a cross member and adapter so new rx 8 motors can go in gen 1,2,3 cars? Old rotary stock is out there, but in questionable condition in many cases.
Nice thread mouse. Way over my head, but the intercooler stuff is neat.

Who would want the smog motor? The only people I see trying anything with them are punching holes in the rotor housings to get flow. CR is too high for any kind of boost and you can't use the old style rotors in 'em.

Kamal, I'll be in transit for the next two weeks or so, but if you find good S4 or S5 turbo rotors or even S6 I'm interested. I know what you meant about the extra fuel, a trick NASA documented in the 40s, but I guess I don't HAVE to have the 8.5 since I'll never get past 10# boost (except at altitude where we're short of air anyway). Meantime I'll plan on doing the 12A, but I will take 13B parts just in case.

Awesome thread, I like it!.. I got an Eaton M90 supercharger, and got in way over my head making a program that figures out how much power you should get out of it, and I made the program very pessimistic, because you get less crap for that than a program that tells you you'll get a massive amount of power from a supercharger when in fact you don't
So, that being said, with an M90 and a stockport, 4" lower pulley, 2.75 upper, I got 7 PSI, and I'm figuring about 145 HP, and with a pretty wild streetport, the pressure would drop to about 5 PSI, and your HP would go to about 180ish... this is on a 12A
Mouse, I do have a set of nice '74 13B rotors (3mm seals), I think they're 9.0 or so, you'd have to check mazdatrix since I can't remember that well
and I posted this already, but here's my setup with a very bagged old 12A...

I would expect 180hp without the supercharger on a wild street-ported 12A. With the supercharger I would expect 250hp.

as I said, I made this program VERY pessimistic, as it stands, it burns the tires off in 2nd gear on dirt from 2000 rpm and up with 87 octane and 0degrees timing, with some better fuel and 15 degrees, and of course a properly adjusted carb, I should be able to do much better
